Munich Photography Competition 2025

The theme of our 2025 photography competition invites all amateur photographers at all levels to explore the timeless art of black and white photography.

Without the distraction of color, black and white photography challenges you to tell a visual story through composition, contrast, light, shadow, texture, and geometry. This style of photography is a powerful medium for evoking emotion, revealing intricate details, and creating a striking visual impact.

What do winners receive?

20 winning photos will be exhibited at the hotel WunderLocke (Gmunder Straße 27, 81379 Munich)

Three participants will also have the opportunity to win extra prizes (vouchers for content-filled workshop by renowned photographer and educator – Anita Nagypal)

All exhibiting participants will have the chance to sell their work directly to the attendees at the exhibition. The exhibition not only provides a valuable platform for artists to showcase their talent, but to also engage with potential buyers and generate sales.
