Theme title: Ordinary Magic

This year we invite you to use your creativity and artistic lens to transform everyday scenes or subjects into something more magical.

The challenge is to find extraordinary within the ordinary things and to notice the wonder, humour, and beauty in moments we often overlook.

What we are looking for / require:

– Images of everyday life that make you / the viewer pause, smile, reflect or appreciate the ordinary around them.

– A short description (50-100 words) about the story behind the picture.

Submission deadline: 31st October 2026 (23:00 CET)

What do winners receive?

– 20 winning photos will be exhibited at the hotel WunderLocke (Gmunder Straße 27, 81379 Munich)

– Three participants will have the opportunity to win extra prizes (vouchers for content-filled workshop by renowned photographer and educator – Anita Nagypal)

– All exhibiting participants will have the chance to sell their work directly to the attendees at the exhibition. The exhibition not only provides a valuable platform for artists to showcase their talent, but to also engage with potential buyers and generate sales.
